Sinus-lift procedure

This is a procedure where we can increase the bone mass of the sinus floor, so that we can gain enough bone density and height to insert implants.

The bone between the sinus floor and the mouth can be varying in thickness. Sometimes the bone is lost due to dental and periodontal(gum) infection, othertimes due to anatomical variation, a person may have less bone. We can give more information at the consultation stage.

All lesions which are indicative of excision are referred to the appropriate hospital.

Suturing of lip       £200

Exposing a burried tooth       £250

Gingivectomy (removal of overgrown gum tissue)     £200

Free gingival graft        £450

In a situation where the gum has been lost due to excessive pressure on brushing, infection, orthodontic movement or any other reason, we can transfer tissue from a doner site to achieve good aesthetic result. Usually the tissue is transferred from the hard palate. Some times a microscope may be used for this procedure and there will be an additional charge of £200.
